O ato simbólico reuniu cerca de 300 carros antigos no bolsão de estacionamento do Koxixo’s, na Beira-mar Norte, em Florianópolis, com a presença do autor da lei, deputado Carlos Humberto, e de apaixonados pelo antigomobilismo vindos de diversas cidades do Estado.
O governador Jorginho Mello tirou o Karmann Ghia da garagem neste sábado (9/8) para um momento especial: a sanção da Lei 19.324/2025, que institui a “Rota do Antigomobilismo” em Santa Catarina.
“Hoje Santa Catarina ganha oficialmente a Rota do Antigomobilismo, valorizando nossa história, cultura e economia. Esses eventos, que já encantam tantas cidades, agora fazem parte do calendário turístico do Estado. É uma alegria sancionar essa lei a bordo do meu Karmann Ghia, celebrando com todos vocês que mantêm viva essa paixão sobre rodas”, disse o governador Jorginho Mello.
Da Beira-mar Norte, a grande carreata percorreu a principal via da Capital, passou pela Ponte Hercílio Luz e encerrou com festa na Beira-mar Continental, em um cenário marcado por motores clássicos, buzinas nostálgicas e o entusiasmo dos colecionadores.
A nova legislação cria um itinerário oficial que valoriza e conecta pontos turísticos, culturais e históricos relacionados ao antigomobilismo em Santa Catarina, incluindo museus, eventos, feiras, restaurantes e estabelecimentos que promovem a cultura automobilística. Além disso, passa a incluir no calendário turístico estadual os eventos já promovidos individualmente pelos clubes de carros antigos, potencializando seu impacto econômico.
O deputado Carlos Humberto trouxe de Balneário Camboriú seu Opala 1991, reforçando o clima retrô do evento. “Essa nova legislação vai incluir os eventos já promovidos individualmente pelos clubes de carros antigos em diversas cidades do Estado no calendário turístico de Santa Catarina, dando ainda mais potencial econômico para a atividade”, destacou o parlamentar.
